Status Update

“Transmissions from the Camp Trans”
The claim that was being made in this Rogerian style passage was that transsexual men should be able to attend the MWMF.

“Dark Webs Goth Subcultures in Cyberspace”
In this Toulmin style passage the writer is arguing that cyberspace has contributed to the survival of the Goth subculture.

“The Truck Stop as Community and Culture”
This passage uses its Toulmin approach in order to argue how the truckers are able to still form their own little subculture at the truck stop.

“House for the Homeless”
The writer of this passage uses a Classical approach in arguing their point about how homeless people are human also and should not be forgotten about.

Time is winding down and our rough draft for our final paper is due next week. I still have a couple more researching to do when it comes to my subculture. I am planning on visiting my field site again in order to get a better understanding and observations on my subculture. I will do one more interview in order to rap up my paper. I am pretty skeptical about this paper but where there is a will there is a way. One question that I would like answered during peer review is whether or not my claim is effective.
